Příslušné mimořádné opatření Ministerstva zdravotnictví, které platí od 12. května, vzala na vědomí vláda Andreje Babiše. Další vlnu rozvolňování nošení roušek naplánovalo Ministerstvo zdravotnictví na pondělí 25. května. Schválili například návrh novely zákona o dani z přidané hodnoty, která implementuje do české legislativy nové právní předpisy Evropské unie v oblasti daně z přidané hodnoty týkající se přeshraničního elektronického obchodování. Změny se dotknou mimo jiné prodeje zboží na dálku mezi jednotlivými členskými státy EU či dovozu zboží nízké hodnoty. Zrušit se má například dosavadní osvobození od daně z přidané hodnoty při dovozu zboží do hodnoty 22 eur ze zemí mimo EU, a to od 1. ledna 2021 v celé Evropské unii. Novela řeší dvě oblasti – má zavést používání elektronického receptu i pro léčiva obsahující návykové látky a mění pravidla pro pěstování a prodej konopí pro léčebné účely. Zatímco dosud mohl léčebné konopí do české distribuce dodávat pouze jeden dodavatel vybraný Státním ústavem pro kontrolu léčiv, nově by mohl konopí pro léčebné účely pěstovat a dodávat každý, kdo splní podmínky licenčního řízení. Zároveň bude nově možné případnou produkci vyvážet i do zahraničí při splnění podmínek zákona o návykových látkách. Ministři schválili také návrh zákona, kterým se stanoví termín předložení návrhu zákona o státním rozpočtu České republiky na rok 2021 vládě a Poslanecké sněmovně Parlamentu České republiky. Ministerstvo financí návrh připravilo v důsledku současné koronavirové krize, kvůli které není stále jasné, jak velký výpadek příjmů státnímu rozpočtu v příštím roce hrozí a na jak velký nárůst výdajů se stát musí připravit. Ministerstvo financí proto navrhlo mimořádně prodloužit lhůty na přípravu rozpočtu pro rok 2021 a výhledu na další roky s tím, že správcům kapitol sdělí návrhy příjmů a výdajů na další rok až 15. srpna na základě makroekonomické predikce ČR vydané do 10. srpna. Vláda odsouhlasila rovněž návrh na změnu definice rodinného podniku, kterou navrhlo Ministerstvo průmyslu a obchodu. Do definice rodinného podniku budou napříště spadat i firmy, které vlastní jeden člen rodiny, který je zároveň i jediným statutárním zástupcem, a další členové rodiny jsou v této firmě zaměstnáni a na řízení podniku se podílejí zatím jen nepřímo, v rámci rodinných vztahů. Přitom je zajištěna mezigenerační kontinuita, protože potomci postupně vedení firmy od nejstaršího člena rodiny přebírají. Definice rodinného podniku se v tomto směru v podstatě sjednotí s definicí rodinné živnosti. Kabinet schválil rovněž novelu zákona o zadávání veřejných zakázek, jejímž cílem je zjednodušit nákup osobních ochranných prostředků jako pohotovostních zásob po konci nouzového stavu. Ministerstvo pro místní rozvoj navrhuje, aby v těchto případech nemusel zadavatel zakázky splnit všechny běžné požadavky zákona a mohl realizaci nákupu zásadně urychlit. Zadavatel například nebude v případě jednacího řízení bez uveřejnění povinen ověřovat kvalifikaci či nebude povinen vyloučit vybraného dodavatele, který nemá zaknihované akcie. Zadavatel také nebude povinen prověřovat skutečného majitele vybraného dodavatele v případě naléhavé situace a v případě existence jediného možného dodavatele. Celý výtěžek z prodeje musel být předán vévodou z Gloucesteru Červenému kříži a St. John fondu. Prostory pro tyto obchůdky bývaly obvykle zapůjčeny bez nájemného a v některých případech majitelé hradili náklady na vytápění a osvětlení. Dnes putuje oblečení věnované na charitativní účely nebo sebrané v rámci recyklace textilií do specializovaných třídíren, tam je dezinfikováno[1] a poté prodáváno v rámci četných velkoobchodů. V mnoha případech tak jeho prodej ztrácí svou charitativní funkci a jedná se o běžný výdělečný prodej.
